Sea-rail combined transport

        Taking the opportunity of being selected as the first batch of national multimodal transport demonstration projects in 2016, Tangshan Port has implemented the northwest strategy in the subsequent years. Currently, forty inland ports have been established in 9 provinces and cities in North China and Northwest China including Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Hebei, and Beijing, with open-top containers and self-supplied container sea-rail transportation as its main business. The transported goods include coal, coking coal, coal ash, cement, slag powder, kaolin, polyvinyl chloride, aluminum ingots, tomato sauce, etc.

Transit Route: South Korea/Japan shipments to Jingtang Port are unloaded from vessels and loaded onto trains and transported to Moscow Vorsino Station through Erenhot Port. 

Transit Time: 3-5 days for train loading and customs declaration. Transit time from Jingtang to Erenhot Port 5-7 days. Transit time from Eranhot to Moscow 15 days.
